erfect as gifts, souvenirs or for your own home/office display of Buddy Holly memorabilia. This miniature combination is constructed with details almost exact to the original instruments and as a tribute to one of the greatest rock bands of all time.  MINIATURE DRUM & GUITAR SET - BUDDY HOLLY & THE CRICKETS #1 version of the drum and guitar set has a gold and white band name on a black background.

Buddy Holly, was an American singer, songwriter, and musician who was a central and pioneering figure of rock and roll. To subvert a previous contract with Decca records, Holly and his group were known as The Crickets. Eventually, the timing on that contract ended and Holly was able to use his name on recordings. From the release of “That’ll be the Day” in May 1957 to his death in February 1959, Holly recorded 50 songs and released 3 albums and had four Top 10 singles.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame included Holly among its first class in 1986. On its entry, the Hall of Fame remarked upon the large quantity of material he produced during his short musical career and said it "made a major and lasting impact on popular music." It called him an "innovator" for writing his own material, his experimentation with double tracking and the use of orchestration; he is also said to have "pioneered and popularized the now-standard" use of two guitars, bass, and drums by rock bands.

Please note that the entire set is not to scale.Amplifiers illustrated are sold individually and not as a pair.  They do not come with basic Drum and Guitar set but can be added for increased visual impact at additional cost.  Please see my Store for listings that include the Drum & Guitar set and amplifiers.
